Good afternoon KMS Parents,

We are already drafting our KMS PFEP and Title 1 Compact for next year and we need your opinion. If you hover over statements below it has a link that will allow you to answer 9 questions that will guide us on what will be the best plan and compact agreement for our 2026-2027 school year. The results will be analyzed on our February 9th SAC meeting, and you are welcome to participate.

Principal’s Message

KMS Families

It is hard to believe that we are already halfway through the school year. Time truly flies when our students and staff are fully engaged in meaningful learning each day. In November, our students completed their PM2 assessments, and our teachers have been busy analyzing this data to guide instruction for the remainder of the year. This intentional process allows us to celebrate student strengths while targeting areas of growth to ensure every learner continues to progress.

We are incredibly proud of the strong start our students have made this year. Their hard work, perseverance, and positive attitudes—combined with the dedication of our faculty and the continued support of our families—have created a solid foundation for success. As we move forward into the second half of the school year, we remain committed to high expectations, continuous improvement, and a shared focus on student acievement.

We look forward to all that we will accomplish—together.

Cuesta creer que ya hayamos llegado a la mitad del año escolar. El tiempo vuela cuando nuestros estudiantes y personal están plenamente comprometidos con un aprendizaje significativo cada día. En noviembre, nuestros estudiantes completaron sus evaluaciones PM2, y nuestros maestros han estado analizando estos datos para orientar la enseñanza durante el resto del año. Este proceso intencional nos permite celebrar las fortalezas de los estudiantes y, al mismo tiempo, identificar áreas de mejora para garantizar que cada alumno continúe progresando. Estamos increíblemente orgullosos del excelente comienzo de año que han tenido nuestros estudiantes. Su esfuerzo, perseverancia y actitud positiva, combinados con la dedicación de nuestro profesorado y el apoyo constante de nuestras familias, han sentado una base sólida para el éxito. Al comenzar la segunda mitad del año escolar, mantenemos nuestro compromiso con las altas expectativas, la mejora continua y un enfoque compartido en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. Esperamos con entusiasmo todo lo que lograremos juntos.
