Principal’s Message
I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful and restful summer. As we reflect on the past school year, I want to thank our students, staff, and families for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. We are incredibly proud of all that our students accomplished.
As we say goodbye to our outgoing 8th graders and welcome our incoming 6th graders, we are excited to begin another great year at Kissimmee Middle School. To help us prepare for the start of school, students who have not yet submitted their elective requests should do so as soon as possible by clicking on the "For Students" tab at the top of this page.
We look forward to seeing everyone at Meet the Teacher Night on Thursday, August 6, from 3:30–5:30 p.m., where students and families can meet teachers, learn about the upcoming year, and get ready for a successful start. The first day of school is Monday, August 10, and we are excited to welcome our Jaguars back to campus.

Espero que todos estén disfrutando de un verano maravilloso y reparador. Al reflexionar sobre el año escolar que acaba de terminar, quiero agradecer a nuestros estudiantes, al personal y a las familias por su arduo trabajo, dedicación y compromiso con la excelencia. Estamos increíblemente orgullosos de todo lo que nuestros estudiantes lograron.
Mientras despedimos a los alumnos que terminan el octavo grado y damos la bienvenida a los que comienzan el sexto, nos entusiasma iniciar otro gran año en Kissimmee Middle School. Para ayudarnos a prepararnos para el inicio de clases, aquellos estudiantes que aún no hayan enviado sus solicitudes de materias optativas deben hacerlo lo antes posible haciendo clic en la pestaña "For Students" (Para estudiantes) en la parte superior de esta página.
Esperamos verlos a todos en la noche de presentación de maestros (*Meet the Teacher Night*) el jueves 6 de agosto, de 3:30 a 5:30 p. m.; allí, los estudiantes y sus familias podrán conocer a los docentes, informarse sobre el próximo año escolar y prepararse para un comienzo exitoso. El primer día de clases es el lunes 10 de agosto, y estamos muy contentos de recibir nuevamente a nuestros "Jaguars" en la escuela.

Kissimmee Middle School is proud to offer a wide variety of unique programs designed to help every student discover their interests, develop their talents, and prepare for future success.
Our STEM Program provides hands-on experiences in computer science, engineering, and technology while preparing students for a variety of high-demand careers. Students with a passion for the performing arts can participate in our outstanding Band and Orchestra programs, where they develop musical talent, discipline, teamwork, and confidence through performances and specialized instruction. Our JROTC Program helps students build leadership skills, citizenship, responsibility, and character through engaging activities and community involvement.
